Unay Simon: Cups in athletics are more valuable to me

Spain national team and Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Unay Simon shared his thoughts about his career at the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, people interpret football differently. For some, money is important, while for others, achievements take precedence.

Some value playing with teammates to whom they have fully dedicated themselves. Simon dreams of becoming the best goalkeeper in the world and winning the Champions League, but achieving such successes with Athletic is very difficult.

Nevertheless, he emphasized that securing a Champions League spot or winning a cup with Athletic gives him more satisfaction than having dozens of titles elsewhere. Unay Simon has been playing for Athletic since 2014.

With this club, he has won the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa. At the national team level, he has been a winner of the European Championship and the Nations League.
