Bayern club may exercise the option to buy striker Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea, even if the mandatory purchase clause does not come into effect. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to available information, if the player appears in 40 or more matches this season and plays at least 45 minutes on the field, the Munich club is obliged to finalize his full transfer. However, although the likelihood of this condition being met is low, the transfer process is not entirely ruled out.
According to the Bild publication, there is an agreement between the parties that if the player performs well but does not reach the required number of games, the clubs will discuss the deal in the spring of the season. According to Transfermarkt experts, Nicolas Jackson's value is estimated at 50 million euros.
The 24-year-old striker made his debut for Bayern after being loaned.
