Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the head coach of the Benfica team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The interesting point is that on September 30, the Lisbon team will play an away match against Chelsea in the Champions League. Mourinho's game is of special importance because he previously managed Chelsea during two periods – from 2004 to 2007 and from 2013 to 2015.
Under his leadership, the "Blues" became English Premier League champions three times, in 2005, 2006, and 2015. Additionally, under Mourinho, Chelsea won the FA Cup (2007), the League Cup (2005, 2007, 2015), and the English Super Cup (2005).
As a reminder, at the end of summer, Jose Mourinho was dismissed from Fenerbahce. Now he is ready to demonstrate his skills with his new team.
