Juventus' central defender Lloyd Kelly could have transferred to England's Sunderland club during the summer transfer window. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This information was revealed by an insider, Nicola Schira. According to the source, in August Juventus rejected Sunderland's offer of 20 million euros.

Additionally, Kelly himself wanted to stay in Turin. The team's head coach Igor Tudor also values Kelly and wanted to keep him in the squad.

In the current season, 26-year-old Kelly has appeared in four matches across all competitions and managed to score two goals. His contract with the "Old Lady" is valid until 2029.

At the same time, the relationship between the club and the player is good, and cooperation is expected to continue in the future. Kelly holds an important position in the team with his reliability in the defensive line.
