The Barcelona club announced this on their official website. Euro-football.ru reported on this.
It states that the team led by Hans-Dieter Flick will play the first home game of the Champions League season against PSG at the Olympic Stadium. It is clear that the Camp Nou stadium is not yet ready to open its doors.
The club emphasized that it is actively working to obtain the necessary administrative permits to open the Camp Nou stadium in the near future. It should be recalled that Barcelona played their home games at the Olympic Stadium last season.
Barcelona and PSG teams will face each other in the second round of the Champions League group stage on Wednesday, October 1. The official reopening of the Camp Nou stadium is planned for next summer after the completion of full reconstruction works.
For now, Barcelona is preparing to hold matches with limited spectator capacity at the renovated stadium.
