Stuttgart stopped St. Pauli's leadership dream
The "St. Pauli" team could have taken first place in the tournament table if they had won away against "Stuttgart" in the fourth round of the German championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

However, the opposing team, which had only collected three points at the beginning of the season, fought hard and achieved a worthy victory. In the fourth minute of the match, Ermedin Demirovich scored a goal against the visitors, but the VAR review confirmed an offside.

In the middle of the first half, Angelo Stiller took a penalty kick, but the goalkeeper saved the ball. Later, Stiller took a shot from the game, but the goalkeeper saved the ball again.

In the 43rd minute, Demirovich took responsibility, finished the attack, skillfully deceived the goalkeeper, and opened the score – 1:0. After a 15-minute break, Demirovich assisted Bilal el-Hannus with a goal pass, making the score 2:0.

Luis Oppi could have quickly brought interest back to the game, but his shot from the penalty area hit the goalpost. In the counterattack, Demirovich was again close to scoring, but an offside was recorded.

Manolis Saliakas could not take a shot from a good position, and Oladapo Afolayyan failed to deceive the goalkeeper. The "St. Pauli" team shares second place with seven points, while the opponent stands fifth with six points.

The match ended: "Stuttgart" 2, "St. Pauli" 0. Goals: Demirovich 43rd minute, el-Hannus 50th minute.

This result became one of the important turning points in the teams' season games.
