Bellingem returned to the field after surgery

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingem played on the field for the first time this season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The English footballer came on in the 89th minute against Espanyol in the La Liga match on Saturday, replacing Kylian Mbappe. When he entered the field, the score was 2-0 in favor of Real, and the final result of the match had already been decided.

It should be recalled that the 22-year-old player was in the recovery process after shoulder surgery, which is why he could not play at the start of the season. Bellingem expressed his gratitude to the fans in his Instagram message.

He said, "I missed you and the game very much. I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome you showed at the stadium today.

Your support during my recovery gave me great strength. Hala Madrid," journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.

Additionally, on Tuesday, September 23, the team led by Xavi Alonso will play an away match against Levante.
