Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is approaching a new record. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

On Saturday, the Egyptian footballer helped the Reds secure a 2-1 victory against Everton in the derby and provided an assist. Now, the 33-year-old player has a total of 274 goal contributions for Liverpool in the English Championship.

According to Squawka, Salah ranks second for the most goals and assists for a single club in the English Premier League. The record holder is former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, but he may soon relinquish the lead to Salah, as he has 276 goal contributions.

In the ranking, third place is held by Ryan Giggs from Manchester United, with 271 goal contributions. Following are Harry Kane from Tottenham (259) and Thierry Henry from Arsenal (249).

These figures represent the best achievements in the history of the English Premier League and confirm how important these players have been for their teams.
