Manchester United midfielder Kazemiro managed to be both a hero and an anti-hero in the match against Chelsea held on Saturday. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Brazilian player scored a goal in the 37th minute, bringing the score to 2-0. This goal secured the victory for the team, with Manchester United winning the match 2-1.
Soon after, Kazemiro again made his mark in the records, but this time negatively – he received a second yellow card and was sent off the field. According to Opta data, Kazemiro became the first Manchester United player in history to score a goal and receive a red card in the first half of an English Premier League match.
The last time such an event occurred among all teams was in 2012 during the match between Tottenham and Arsenal, when Emmanuel Adebayor was involved.
