Alonso: Every player wants to step onto the field

The head coach of Madrid's "Real" team, Xabi Alonso, commented that forward Vinicius Junior does not always play in the starting lineup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Alonso emphasized that all players want to get on the field. He even mentioned Franco Mastantuono, saying that when he was substituting him, the player looked at him and asked, "Are you going to substitute me?"

Alonso said he replied to this question, "Yes, Franco, I am substituting you," and noted that Mastantuono got a little upset. Thus, not only Vinicius but all players want to get on the field.

In the fifth round of the Spanish championship, "Real" defeated "Espanyol" 2-0 at home. In this match, Vinicius and Mastantuono started in the lineup, but both were substituted in the 77th minute.
