The second place was taken by France national team and PSG attacking midfielder Ousmane Dembele. The third place was occupied by another PSG player Vitinha.
Vitinha scored 643 points. The top ten also included Rafinha from Barcelona, Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, Nuno Mendes from PSG, Pedro from Barcelona, Desire Due from PSG, Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid, and Lautaro Martinez from Inter.
Last year, the Ballon d'Or was awarded to Rodri, midfielder of Manchester City. This award is given to the best footballer of the year and is considered one of the most prestigious honors in world football.
