The "Ballon d'Or" award ceremony in Paris is ongoing. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

During the event, former head coach of the Russian national team Fabio Capello took the stage. He opened the envelope and announced the name of the recipient of the Johan Cruyff award.

The best coach of last season was named Luis Enrique from the "PSG" team. Under Luis Enrique's leadership, the "PSG" team won four major trophies last season.

The team won the French Championship, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, and the Champions League. However, Luis Enrique did not attend the event due to a match in the French Championship.

Additionally, coaches such as Hans-Dieter Flick, Arne Slot, Enzo Maresca, and Antonio Conte were also nominated for this award. It is worth noting that Luis Enrique was appointed head coach of the "PSG" team in the summer of 2023.

This award was given to him for his achievements last season.
