Donnarumma won the Yashin Award for the second time

Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma shared his thoughts on being awarded the best goalkeeper of the 2024/25 season by France Football. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He considers it a great honor to have won the Yashin Award for the second time in his career. Although football is a team sport, this is an individual award that all goalkeepers dream of receiving.

For this reason, he emphasized how happy he is that the judges chose him. Given the many talented goalkeepers worldwide, this award holds great significance for him.

Donnarumma expressed satisfaction with the results and trophies achieved last season. He also stated that he is now fully focused on the Manchester City team.

Interestingly, at the award ceremony, he did not mention his former club PSG, where he played for four years. This indicates his complete dedication to his current career.

Overall, Donnarumma's words demonstrate his professionalism and loyalty to the team.
