Agent Paulu Barboza commented on Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma being recognized as the best goalkeeper of last season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Italian footballer received the award named after Lev Yashin. According to Barboza, Donnarumma was chosen as the best only because he won the Champions League.
In the French league, however, he did not perform at his best and made mistakes. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the most important thing is the result.
It should be noted that during the summer transfer window, the Italian goalkeeper moved from the French club PSG to the English club Manchester City. The 26-year-old footballer signed a long-term contract with the prestigious English club, which is valid until the end of June 2030.
