Guberniyev highly appreciated Safonov's competition at PSG

Journalist Dmitriy Guberniyev commented on the recognition of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as the best goalkeeper of 2025, while also highlighting Matvey Safonov's efforts. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Guberniyev specifically noted that the Russian goalkeeper was not afraid to compete with one of the strongest goalkeepers in the world. According to him, despite the subjectivity of awards, Donnarumma is a worthy goalkeeper, and Safonov can be proud of his development at PSG.

In Guberniyev's opinion, this situation once again demonstrates how brave and skilled Safonov is. Safonov transferred to the major French club PSG in the summer of 2024.
