Kuznetsov: Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper of the season

Sports19:17, 23-09-2025

Former CSKA and Espanyol player Dmitriy Kuznetsov responded to the question about Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper of the Italy national team and Manchester City club, being recognized as the best goalkeeper of the past season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Kuznetsov, compared to other goalkeepers, Donnarumma truly showed strong performance. His transfer to PSG also had a positive impact on him.

The expert emphasized that the main sign of goalkeeping skill is consistency. If Donnarumma confirms his level at Manchester City, it means that the decision was made correctly.

It is worth noting that last season Donnarumma became the French champion with PSG, won the national cup and super cup, and also secured the Champions League trophy. These results demonstrate his high skill and achievements.

Thus, Donnarumma's performance last season justifies his recognition as the best goalkeeper.
