Russian coach Sergey Tashuyev shared his views on the development of Medialiga and the participation of its clubs in the Russian Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the specialist, the emergence of media teams in national tournaments has become a stable trend and this process cannot be stopped. According to Tashuyev, many of these clubs include Russian Premier League players and the games attract young spectators.

He considers this situation positive because new fans may gradually start supporting professional clubs. At the same time, the coach emphasized that he is not considering the opportunity to work in Medialiga for himself.

He stated that he does not regard Medialiga teams as professional clubs. Financial conditions are not important to him.

As a reminder, Tashuyev's last workplace was the "Akhmat" club, which he left in May 2025.
