Former “Zenit” footballer Aleksey Strepetov commented on Daler Kuzyayev's decision to continue his career at the “Rubin” club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, the midfielder's return to the Saint Petersburg club is unlikely, as the competition in the team is very strong. At the same time, the expert emphasized that Kuzyayev will earn the trust of head coach Rashid Rahimov at “Rubin” and will secure a stable position in the center of the field.
This is the most optimal option for the player. According to Strepetov, Daler made the right decision.
Rahimov trusts him, while at “Zenit” he would have to start over to regain his place, as no one would give him a spot. Therefore, moving to “Rubin” is the best choice for the player.
It is worth recalling that Kuzyayev played for “Zenit” from 2017 to 2023, after which he transferred to the French club “Le Havre.” Currently, he is active in the “Rubin” team.
