"Fakel" defeated "Tekstilshchik" in a penalty shootout

In today's final match of the cup path, the "Tekstilshchik" team hosted "Fakel". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the opening seconds of the game, "Fakel" took a corner kick from the left wing. Nikita Motspan delivered a good cross from the corner flag, and Stanislav Magkeev struck the ball from the goalkeeper's area, hitting the goalpost.

In the 13th minute, "Tekstilshchik" launched a quick attack. Vladimir Azarov entered the penalty area and confidently finished the pass coming from the right wing, opening the score – 1:0.

In response, "Fakel" counterattacked, and Georgiy Gongadze headed the ball from the right-wing pass at the penalty area line, hitting the upper part of the goalpost. In the second minute of the second half, Maksim Turishchev took a corner kick from the right wing.

Shota Chikhradze headed the ball from the corner into the net – 1:1. In the next situation, Andrey Khityayev made a pass towards the goal from the right corner of the penalty area, but Timur Melekestsev failed to control the ball properly.

The regular time ended with a score of 1:1, and the match was decided by a penalty shootout. This was the third penalty shootout for the "Ivanovets" team this season.

In the exchange of 11-meter shots, the "Fakel" team won. Their next opponent will be the "Ural" team.

The official match protocol is as follows: "Tekstilshchik" and "Fakel" drew 1:1, with "Fakel" winning 3:1 in the penalty shootout. Goals were scored by Vladimir Azarov (13th minute, Tekstilshchik) and Shota Chikhradze (47th minute, Fakel).
