Kombarov wants to play against "Spartak" in the Chayka Cup

The head coach of the Peschanokopskiy "Chayka" team, Dmitriy Kombarov, announced the opponent his team wishes to face in the fifth stage of the Russia Cup regional path competition. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the fourth stage, "Chayka" defeated the Moscow region team "Znamya Truda" with a score of 1:0. In an interview with "Match TV," Kombarov mentioned that recently they lost to Kostroma's "Spartak" team in the championship and expressed their desire to take revenge on them.

He also emphasized that the match against "Znamya" was difficult and that their main goal was to keep a clean sheet. The pairings for the fifth stage of the Russia Cup regional path competition will be determined later.

Meanwhile, Kirov's "Fankom" team eliminated "Ufa" from the competition, becoming the first amateur club in the Cup's history to reach such an advanced stage. This result demonstrates the competitiveness of regional teams and ensures an exciting continuation of the tournament.
