Smolov refused to raise Batrakov's price to 23 million

Former Moscow "Dynamo", "Krasnodar" teams and Russian national team striker Fyodor Smolov commented on the price of "Lokomotiv" midfielder Aleksey Batrakov. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Transfermarkt portal recently updated Batrakov's market value, announcing that his price has nearly doubled and is now estimated at 23 million euros. Smolov considers such an evaluation unjustified and said, "How can he be valued at 23 million euros?

Where are we playing? Where can you see him worth that much?" he expressed his opinion.

He also stated that European clubs would pay a maximum of 15 million euros for the 20-year-old footballer. In Russia, he emphasized that only the "Zenit" club is capable of paying such an amount.

In the 2025/2026 season, Batrakov played a total of 12 matches in the Russian championship and Cup, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists. These statistics show that he is an important player for his team.
