Football expert Aleksandr Bubnov analyzed the performance of Aleksandr Sobolev, the forward of the Zenit team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, he criticized Sobolev's playing statistics and evaluated the player's actions on the field. According to Bubnov, Sobolev does not properly assess his own game; on the contrary, fans are criticizing his performance.
He emphasized that Sobolev's level of play is very low and stated that he does not consider it appropriate to field him as a forward. Bubnov noted that there are stronger forwards than Sobolev, including Kassierra and Lusiano, whose performances he rated highly.
He also noted that Sobolev has appeared in eight matches of the Russian Premier League, scoring two goals and assisting one. The Zenit team defeated Krasnodar 2-0 in their next, ninth round match.
According to Bubnov, the victory was not due to an individual player's good performance but rather the result of team efforts. Therefore, Sobolev's activity on the field did not provide significant help to the team.
The expert's statements are causing widespread discussions among football fans and specialists. Players need to constantly strive to improve their game.
