Messi commented on the conclusion of Busquets' career

Sports22:07, 26-09-2025

Midfielder Sergio Buskets announced that he will retire after the MLS season ends. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

His relative and teammate at Inter Miami, star forward Lionel Messi, responded to this news. Messi posted a photo with Buskets on social media without any caption.

Interestingly, Messi chose this photo from their time playing together at Barcelona, not from their current club. Currently, Inter Miami is in third place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings.

Additionally, 38-year-old Lionel Messi's current contract with the team is valid until the end of 2025. Buskets is one year younger, being 37 years old.

This news has sparked great interest among football fans and has led to many discussions about the future careers of both players.
