Ugarov called Sobolev Zenit's bad transfer

Former Zenit footballer Denis Ugarov criticized the performance of Saint Petersburg club's forward Aleksandr Sobolev. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Ugarov, Sobolev is currently considered one of the worst transfers for the club. He was evaluated as the player with the least benefit among all recent transfers.

Ugarov stated that it is unknown who recommended Sobolev to the club. It is worth noting that Aleksandr Sobolev transferred from Spartak to Zenit last summer.

The 28-year-old player has appeared in 42 matches for the team, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists. Under the leadership of Sergey Semak, the team is currently in fifth place with 16 points before the 10th round of the Russian Premier League.

Sobolev's current performance and status in the club have sparked varied opinions among fans and experts. The club's management and coaches are developing new strategies to lead the team to higher achievements.
