Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team Marinato Gilerme, known for playing at Moscow's Lokomotiv club, shared his thoughts on which young Russian footballers might transfer to foreign clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, there are many promising young footballers in Russia who have the opportunity to go abroad. Especially, the name Aleksey Batrakov is mentioned in the Lokomotiv team.
However, it was emphasized that there are fewer goalkeepers. In the current season, 20-year-old Batrakov has played in 12 matches, scored 10 goals, and provided 2 assists.
He is a product of Lokomotiv's youth system. The Transfermarkt portal has valued his market price at 23 million euros.
This indicates that the future of this young footballer is bright, and foreign clubs are closely monitoring him. Thus, although there are many talented young footballers in Russia, opportunities for them to move abroad are limited.
Gilerme particularly highlighted the shortage of goalkeepers in this regard. Overall, the development of young footballers and their introduction to the international stage is considered a pressing issue.
