Former Spartak forward Vyacheslav Krotov, currently playing for Yenisey, expressed his opinion about Andrey Tikhonov's readiness to work at top-level clubs in the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Krotov, Tikhonov is capable of managing the Spartak team. He emphasized that he closely follows Spartak.
Tikhonov has been the head coach of Yenisey since January 2024. Currently, the Krasnoyarsk team is in 14th place in the PARI league standings with a total of ten points after 11 rounds.
It should be noted that Tikhonov has previously worked at Spartak, but not as a head coach. He was part of Valery Karpin's coaching staff in 2011-2012 and Oleg Kononov's staff in 2013-2014.
This experience allows him to work effectively at top-level clubs. Tikhonov's coaching career and team management skills are important for Russian football.
