Former “Zenit” team player Pavel Pogrebnyak shared his thoughts on the results of the “Baltika” team in the current season of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, sometimes players may lag behind in skill, but they compensate for this with their passion and spirit for the game. This is very good because a team like “Baltika” is rarely capable of unsettling the nerves of the leaders.
The expert also did not deny that “Baltika” can compete for the top positions. Currently, after nine rounds, the team led by Andrey Talalaev occupies third place in the RPL standings, trailing the leader by only two points.
In the tenth round, “Baltika” will play an away match against CSKA on September 28. This game is expected to further demonstrate the team’s potential this season.
