Former Polish footballer advised to dismiss Flick

Sports16:01, 27-09-2025

Former Polish national team footballer Jan Tomaszewski hopes that "Barcelona" head coach Hans-Dieter Flick will leave his position. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, "Barcelona" has a sufficient squad to win the Champions League. Tomaszewski stated that the team's contract with the coach should not be extended because Robert Lewandowski is not playing well.

He said that a team with such a strong player should win all competitions, but they lost to a strong "Inter" team. Interestingly, "Inter" later lost 0-5 in the final, which showed their weakness.

The current contract between Hans-Dieter Flick and "Barcelona" is scheduled until the end of the 2026/2027 season. Currently, "Barcelona" holds second place in the Spanish La Liga.

The team and its coaches face significant tasks, and fans are expecting high results. According to Jan Tomaszewski, considering the team's composition and capabilities, better results can be achieved.
