Former player of Grozny's "Axmat" team, Andrey Semyonov, shared his thoughts about the team's future prospects. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He highlighted that in the tenth round of the Russian Premier League, "Axmat" defeated the Tolyatti city team "Akron" 3-0 at home. According to Semyonov, the club strengthened during the summer transfer window and has two players for each position.
This allows the team to be competitive. He said that under the leadership of "Axmat" head coach Stanislav Cherchesov, the team has the opportunity to enter the Premier League's top five.
Currently, "Axmat" is in seventh place in the Russian championship standings with 15 points after ten games. The team is only one point behind fifth-placed "Zenit," although "Zenit" still has one game remaining.
Therefore, the "Axmat" team is expected to continue fighting for higher positions.
