Murad Musayev, head coach of the "Krasnodar" team, gave an interview to the "Match TV" channel after the game against "Rostov". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He described the match as difficult and complex. Musayev emphasized that his team traveled with the intention to win, but during the game there were many battles, numerous fights for second balls, and strong emotions.
The pace of the game was slow, and the referee did not help the match to go well. He admitted that they wanted to watch football, but there was little football in today's game.
As a result, the team was limited to one point and expressed their desire to move forward. In the second half, when "Krasnodar" played without the ball, there was pressure from the opponent, but the team did not face major problems in defense.
The opponent had several attacks, but no serious chances were created. Musayev noted that "Rostov" fought well, but "Krasnodar" is also one of the league leaders in playing under high pressure.
The team is capable of fighting and controlling the game, but he noted that they want to play football. Players who entered the field in the 60th minute — Batchi, Krivtsov, Paltsev, and Kozlov — were given tasks to increase activity, bring the ball down, and open up by moving backward.
He said that each player has a specific task and did not want to explain them in detail. Speaking about the lack of goals in upcoming games, Musayev said that for now it is not a problem, emphasizing that playing against strong opponents like "Zenit" and "Rostov" is difficult.
He stated that there are injured players in the team, but they will continue to fight with the available players and strive for victory.
