Former Zenit footballer Aleksey Strepetov shared his thoughts following the 10th round match of the Russian Premier League in which the Saint Petersburg team defeated Orenburg 5-2. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that Luis Enrique's game was weak and stated that it was one of the worst performances of the footballer during his time at Zenit. At the same time, Strepetov praised Maksim Glushenkov for his efficiency and important actions on the field.
The former player noted that the Zenit team did not show a perfect game and that some players were not in their best form. He stressed that Luis Enrique was completely unsuccessful in the match and that the results of his actions were negative.
According to Strepetov, currently Glushenkov's performance is bringing positive results to the team. After the 10th round of the Russian Premier League, Zenit holds third place in the standings with 19 points.
The team still cannot fully demonstrate its strength and needs to address some shortcomings.
