Negotiations between Barinov and Lokomotiv have not yet started

Vladimir Kuzmichyov, the agent representing the interests of Dmitriy Barinov, midfielder of the Lokomotiv team, commented on the information regarding the ongoing negotiations with the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, Yuri Nagornykh, chairman of the "red-greens" board, announced that negotiations to extend the player's contract had begun. According to the agent, more specifically, they planned to meet with Leonchenko on Monday to start the conversation.

In the current season, 29-year-old Barinov has played 14 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists. The midfielder's current contract is valid until next summer.

The agent did not rule out the possibility that Barinov might leave Lokomotiv. This indicates that decisions regarding the player's future have not yet been finalized.
