Former West Ham head coach Grem Potter commented on his resignation from the London club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

On September 27, the "Hammers" press service officially announced the termination of cooperation with the 50-year-old coach. Potter admitted that he was dissatisfied with his situation because he was unable to achieve the goals he aimed for with the club.

He also fully acknowledged that the results were unsatisfactory and wished the club only success in the future, he said. The coach expressed gratitude to the West Ham team staff for their sincere work and warm welcome.

Additionally, he gave special thanks to the players and fans for supporting the team during difficult times. Former Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espírito Santo was appointed as the new head coach.
