Ignatyev evaluated Lokomotiv's championship chances

Veteran member of the «Lokomotiv» team Vladislav Ignatyev evaluated the «railwaymen»'s performance this season in an exclusive interview with Euro-Futbol.ru. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He shared his thoughts about Denis Glushakov's farewell match. According to Ignatyev, the event was well organized and the fans actively participated.

He recalled playing together with Denis at «Lokomotiv». He also spoke about his own farewell match and mentioned that he is still active and ready to organize that match if he feels like it.

The veteran also analyzed the team's results this season. He emphasized that the young team is showing good results and the leaders are proving themselves.

However, many points were lost due to a slight slowdown in results towards the end of the season. He said that if the team plays consistently throughout the season, they could take first place.

He also highlighted the problem of the team lacking substitutes towards the end of the season. Ignatyev expressed his opinion about the rumors that Lokomotiv's head coach Yuriy Syomin might manage Belarus's «Vitebsk» club.

According to him, this should be asked directly from Syomin. However, he noted that Syomin managed the team during Glushakov's farewell match, achieved good results, and defeated the opponent veterans' team.

Therefore, he emphasized that Yuriy Palych can handle any task.
