Aleksandr Shikunov, former sports director of the capital's "Spartak," shared his opinion about the possibility of Dejan Stankovich's resignation. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Serbian media are actively discussing the likelihood of appointing Stankovich as the head coach of the national team following Dragan Stoykovich's resignation after the defeat against Albania. According to Shikunov, it is difficult to say whether this information is true or just a rumor.

However, it is clear that his tenure at "Spartak" will not last long. If the opportunity to sign a contract with the national team arises, he will accept the role of managing the team.

The Serbian specialist is working with the "red and white" team for the second season and currently the team is in sixth place in the championship.
