Former Russian national team player Maksim Demenko shared his thoughts on Baltika's prospects for the current season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that Baltika's results in the new season have surprised everyone. However, Demenko believes the team will not be able to maintain this level of play throughout the season.
According to him, Baltika is fighting for points, their players are physically strong and motivated, but such strength may not last the entire season. Currently, under the leadership of Andrey Talalaev, the team is in fifth place after 11 rounds in the Russian championship, having accumulated 20 points.
In the next round, the Kaliningrad team will face Rubin away. This match will test the team's further opportunities in the season.
Overall, Baltika is showing good results this season, but their consistency still needs to be tested.
