Former player of the Himki club from the Moscow region, Lucas Vera, shared his thoughts about the team's bankruptcy. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
At the beginning of September, the Himki club was declared bankrupt by the arbitration court of the Moscow region. In an interview with the publication “Sport-Express,” the footballer expressed gratitude to all his colleagues who worked at the club.
He emphasized that he never had conflicts with the club but felt very bad. He said they gave everything for the club, but the club lied to them.
According to previous reports, the club's debt reached 448 million rubles. Despite financial difficulties, the team continued the season and finished twelfth in the Russian Premier League competition.
This situation was a difficult test for the club and its fans. Nevertheless, the team tried to fulfill its duties and completed the competition.
The bankruptcy process seriously affected the club's activities and may negatively impact future plans. The contributions of the players and staff should be recognized.
Appropriate measures need to be taken to stabilize the club's financial situation. We hope that the Himki team will resume its activities in the near future and achieve new successes.
