Yegor Pogostnov, defender of the capital's “Lokomotiv” football team, shared his thoughts about the team's head coach Mikhail Galaktionov's work. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team is currently in second place in the Russian Premier League competition, just slightly behind the leader. Pogostnov said that he has worked with many coaches, but Galaktionov's approach is different and effective.
They study each opponent in detail and, based on that, try to maximize their opportunities on the field. Mikhail Galaktionov has been managing the “Lokomotiv” team since 2022.
Additionally, he has worked with Russia's youth and junior national teams, leading them to the European Championship in 2021. Galaktionov also has coaching experience with the “Akhmat” and “Pari NN” clubs.
His team management style and strategy greatly assist the players. Currently, the “Lokomotiv” team is showing good results and holding high positions in the competition.
