Laporta: It is an honor for me to be the president of Barcelona

Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona club, shared his thoughts about his career. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 63-year-old Spanish politician has been serving as the head of the Catalan major club since March 2021. Laporta emphasized in his words that he enjoys the position of club president, but stated that many people are capable of fulfilling this role.

He highlighted that he has always strived to help the club during difficult times, and seeing the happy faces of the fans inspires him. He noted that to be the head of Barcelona, it is necessary to truly love the club and prioritize its interests above one’s own.

According to him, the most important things are not power, but responsibility, honesty, and sincerity. Also, on October 18, the "blue-red" team will take the field in the next match against Girona.

This match is being eagerly awaited by the fans.
