The leading Russian club aims to earn 25 million euros from selling the 28-year-old Brazilian footballer. This is exactly the amount Zenit paid to the Flamengo club for the player's transfer.

In the 2025/2026 season, Jerson has played six matches for Zenit but has not been able to contribute with goals or assists. The Brazilian footballer's current contract with Zenit is scheduled until mid-2030.

The club management and coaching staff are expected to make a decision about the player's future soon. Given the current situation, the likelihood of Jerson leaving the team is high.
