In recent years, the well-known footballer Andrey Kanchelskis shared his thoughts on Spartak team's search for a new head coach. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Earlier, the media circulated information that the "red-whites" team was looking for a new coach to replace Dejan Stankovic. According to Kanchelskis, although Talalaev previously worked at Spartak, the team management does not want to invite Russian coaches.
This decision was made following the activities of specialists such as Yuran, Chernyshov, Karpin, and Cherchesov. The management has decided to give preference to foreign specialists.
At the same time, Kanchelskis believes that Spartak's leaders are mistaken in thinking that a foreign coach will quickly improve the team's results. Currently, Spartak is in sixth place in the Russian championship standings with 18 points after 11 rounds.
The current leader CSKA has collected six points more than them. According to Kanchelskis, the team needs to approach the choice of coach carefully in order to achieve success.
The management's decisions and coach selection directly affect the team's future results. Therefore, any changes should be made after thorough consideration.
