Simon Rolfes, the sports director of Leverkusen's "Bayer" team, explained the reasons why Claudio Echeverri, who was loaned from "Manchester City," has had limited playing time. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, for the team to perform dominantly, it is first necessary to ensure stability in defense. If solidity is established in the defensive line, attackers, including Echeverri, will have more opportunities to spend time on the field.

"Bayer" took the 19-year-old Argentine player on loan during the summer transfer window. Echeverri has appeared in five matches for Leverkusen and provided one assist.

However, overall, he has spent only 82 minutes on the field. The team's management is focusing on strengthening the defense first in order to increase the player's playing time.
