
The World Cup qualifying match between the Andorra and Serbia national teams was exciting. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the opening minutes of the game, the Serbian team launched an attack from the left wing. The ball was passed towards the far corner, but Aleksandar Stanković tried to strike and the ball went slightly wide of the goal.
In the 17th minute, Stanković passed the ball to Guillem Lopes, who struck the ball from the center circle and opened the scoring – 1:0. Immediately, Stanković took a shot from the left corner.
The opposing defender Cristian García directed the ball into his own net, which equalized the score – 1:1. In the 54th minute, Filip Kostić made a pass from the left wing into the opponent's penalty area.
Dusan Vlahović headed the ball into the goal – 1:2. In the 77th minute, Aleksandar Mitrović directed the ball into the right corner from a penalty.
The goalkeeper could not hold the ball on the line and the ball went into the net – 1:3. Vlahović took another shot, but the goalkeeper deflected the ball onto the post.
The Andorra team is currently in last place in the group with 1 point and has no chance to move up. Serbia will fight for second place against Albania until the matches in November.
