Aris club forward from Cyprus, Aleksandr Kokorin, said that the former head coach did not give him a full opportunity to play for Fiorentina. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Kokorin transferred from Moscow Spartak to Fiorentina in 2021. He played only ten matches for the team over three years and did not score a single goal.
According to Kokorin, coach Italiano focused on any mistake he made during training and did not want to include him in the team lineup. Later, he realized that the coach had a personal attitude against him and decided to ignore it.
When he returned to the team for the second time, Italiano paid attention to new players and ignored him. Kokorin also mentioned that after returning from loan at Aris, he was in excellent shape but could not convince the coach.
The footballer expressed his dissatisfaction with the coach not giving him a chance.
