The court sentenced the former deputy marketing director of the Yenisey football club in Krasnoyarsk to 3.5 years of suspended imprisonment. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He signed contracts with commercial organizations to provide various services at the club's home stadium but embezzled a significant amount of funds. In 2024, he promised to grant one organization the right to place advertisements and open food points during home games in exchange for a certain amount of money.
However, these promises were not fulfilled, and part of the money was kept by him. The commercial organization filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies.
During the court proceedings, it was decided that the former official must pay a fine of 1.6 million rubles and recover property worth 550 thousand rubles. This case was announced by the Krasnoyarsk region prosecutor's office.
The court emphasized that the verdict is of significant importance in the fight against corruption within the club's activities.
