Sergey Semak, head coach of Saint Petersburg's Zenit team, responded to a question about Daler Kuzyov's return to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that the squad is currently fully formed at the club. According to Semak, Kuzyov's transfer took place in a very short period, and making this decision quickly was difficult.
Therefore, the player accepted the offer that was available at that time. It is worth noting that in September, the 32-year-old Russian footballer signed a contract with the Rubin team in Kazan.
Kuzyov played for Zenit from 2017 to 2023. During this period, he appeared in 183 matches, scored 23 goals, and provided 29 assists.
The club management is not currently considering strengthening the squad further.
