Safonov's playing time at PSG will not increase, says Kornyukhin

The Russian goalkeeper has not played on the field this season and has not appeared in any match yet. According to Kornyukhin, Safonov is currently unable to get playing time, and it is unlikely that this situation will change in the near future.

He noted that despite being a talented player, the lack of experience is a significant problem. Importantly, Matvey himself must have the desire to play.

According to the expert, it is advisable for the goalkeeper to go out on loan to increase his playing time. Matvey Safonov transferred to the French club PSG in the summer of 2024.

He has appeared in 17 matches for the team and kept a clean sheet in seven of them. This demonstrates his abilities as a goalkeeper.

At the same time, going on loan to gain regular playing time is necessary for his development.
