Saudi Arabia participates in the World Cup

The Saudi Arabian national team has once again qualified for the World Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

They first participated in this tournament in 1994 and have since been one of the regular participants in the main football competition. Currently, the Saudi team players are receiving worthy rewards for their achievements.

Each player is awarded a prize of five million Saudi riyals by the Ministry of Sports. This amount is approximately equivalent to 1.15 million euros, according to the financial publication Asharq Business.

It should be noted that the best result of the Saudi national team was reaching the playoff stage in the 1994 World Cup, when 24 teams participated in the tournament. Since the number of participants increased to 32 in subsequent championships, achieving this result has become much more difficult.
