Stanislav Agkatsev, goalkeeper for the Russian national team and FC Krasnodar, shared his thoughts about his skills. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In response to the question from the “Match TV” channel, “Do you consider yourself one of the best goalkeepers in the country?” he said: “Ask the experts and coaches about that, not me. However, I probably consider the Krasnodar goalkeeper school the best in Russia.”
Besides Stanislav Agkatsev, goalkeepers such as Matvey Safonov (currently playing for France’s PSG), Yevgeny Latyshonok, and Denis Adamov (both players for Zenit) have also come through Krasnodar. All of them have played matches for the Russian national team.
These goalkeepers perform at the highest level in their homeland, making significant contributions to their teams. Additionally, many experts recognize FC Krasnodar as having extensive experience in training goalkeepers.
This positively influences the development of Russian football.
