Former manager Oreste Cinquini from Saint Petersburg's “Zenit” team shared his thoughts about the head coach of the “blue-white-blue” team, Sergey Semak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Semak has proven his high level with championships. The “Zenit” team will achieve many more victories under his leadership.
In Cinquini's opinion, Semak could have tried working in Europe as well, he had the opportunity, but currently he is actively working in his position at “Zenit”. Sergey Semak was appointed head coach of the Saint Petersburg team in May 2018.
In the last seven years, he has led the team to the Russian Premier League championship gold medals six times. Currently, “Zenit”, as a club on the Neva shore, is in fourth place in the Russian championship standings with a total of 20 points accumulated.
The team is demonstrating its strength throughout the season, striving to occupy top positions.
